Croton Petra is a bright and fun tropical plant with large leaves. With bold, vivid red, yellow, and orange hues, this tropical plant is a perfect to usher in the Fall Season. It is low maintenance once it situates itself in your home. To keep it bright and cheery, make sure the soil is thoroughly dry between waterings as too much water will cause wilting. Use a general fertilizer in a well-draining pot and do not feed in fall and winter. Provide adequate sunlight for 4-6 hours per day.

WATERING NEEDS | Water the plant thoroughly when the soil begins dry until the water flows out the bottom of the pot.
FERTILIZING NEEDS | For best results, use a general houseplant fertilizer once in early spring, once in early summer, and again in mid-summer. Do not feed in the fall or winter.
SUN | SOIL | POTTING | Prefers lots of bright light, 4-6 hrs per day. If possible, use a commercial potting soil designed to provide good drainage, and a pot with unobstructed drainage holes.
