Description

Read more Plant watering devices are made of clay. Watering devices made of clay are porous. When you place a full bottle of water on the watering stake, it will take a while for the water to penetrate through the porous watering stake into the potting soil. If the soil in the pot is dry, water will automatically wick into the soil from the clay, and water will continue to wick into the soil until the soil is saturated with water or until the bottle is empty. Easy to use with long neck wine bottles or plastic bottles. First, dig a hole in the soil. Next, gently insert the watering stake into the soil. Fill a bottle or wine bottle with water, connect the bottle to the water dispenser and turn it upside down. Insert a 7/8 part waterer into the soil to ensure better release. The more piles in the soil, the more moisture the soil can absorb. Slow release watering stakes for vacation use. There is no standard posting time for use time. Usually 1 liter of water can be watered for about 7-10 days. The release rate of plant watering depends on the size of the pot, soil composition, plant requirements and climate. It's designed to prevent overwatering and ensure people water while on vacation. Test the release rate of your plant waterer before going out to protect plant life. Of course, you can also add water directly to the watering pile without any bottles. This situation is more suitable for small plants and potted plants with relatively moist soil. We’d already had experience with similar clay watering devices and decided to buy more of them when our city cut our watering days down to once a week. We had several new small plants we’d started in our garden and didn’t want to risk them drying up.Although the picture in the ad indicates just about any bottle can be used, that’s not the case. A long neck wine bottle ensures that the water gets down to the tip of the device and that the bottle is securely balanced at an angle without breaking the terra-cotta. It’s also important to fully soak the devices in water for at least 24 hours before using them. Always remember that these can easily be broken when handling them or placing them in the soil. Be sure to pack them back in the styrofoam in the box when storing them for the winter.Used w wine bottle to water a plant for a week.
